Rampage: Ondo versity shut down due to crisis.

The management of  Adekunle Ajasin university have shutdown the higher citadel of learning following the protest embarked upon the students of the institution.

Adogist24 learnt that the institution implemented a policy on Tuesday which states that 'no school fees no exam, no test'. The policy affected students in 100 level and 200 level.

It was gathered that the purported policy trailed mixed reactions amidst the students which later surmounted to a peaceful protest.

It could be recalled that the institution released a circular in march 2019, that students who are yet to pay their recently hike tuition fee will pay additional #10,000 for late registration, and whosoever declined by not paying at all won't write the 2018/2019 examination.

Speaking with one of the students simply identified as yemi who pleaded not to be disclosed in full, said that the management hoodwink the students with their earlier promises made during the hike in the tuition fee. The Authority promised that the portal would be open till the revelation of the session.

He said: "The pandemonium was as a result of the school not following  her promises made. They told us that the portal will be opened to all students till the end of the session. But its excruciating that reverse was the case, it is not yet the end of the session we are hearing something indifferent again"

However, Adogist24 came across with a press statement by the management duely signed by the registrar, Dr. M.S Ayerun, directing all the students to proceed on a mid semester break with immediate alacrity and also to resume by 20th of May 2019.
